Mike Crowder - Lead Guitar

Everyone knows that the best thing to do with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech is to put it to good use designing stages for Going Second.  At least, that’s what Mike does with his.  Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia, Mike was inspired when a rock band performed at his middle school.  He promptly went to a pawn shop and picked up his very first guitar and learned to play from lessons on the internet.  Possessing the purest and most determined work ethic of any man ever born, Mike quickly mastered the instrument and put it to use creating hooks that were fun to jump around to.

After founding Going Second, touring relentlessly, and putting many many many hours of blood sweat and tears into the band, Mike is doing better than ever and very excited about the future.  When he’s not hiking with his dog, Jax, he can sometimes be found at Chinese Army hospitals in China, Mount Everest, the Caribbean, or sometimes just in the friendly skies above the US flying his airplane.

Favorite Food: Anything healthy and non fast food related

Hobbies: Making phone calls, Hiking, Skiing, Flying Airplanes, Calculus, Fixing Things, Top Gear
